Habitat for Humanities Second Shot at Love

We had a blast bringing the heart shaped balloon frame to the The Drake Hotel for the Habitat for Humanities Second Shot at Love Party. This was an awesome party celebrating the wonderful volunteers who donated their time to help build a home through Habitat for Humanity.

The celebration at The Drake Hotel is a follow up from their singles build, providing everyone who participated in the build to a second shot at love by mingling with like minded philanthropic singles.

A great party for a great cause.

Drake Hotel's 5th Anniversary Party

The Drake Hotel has been a dear client of mine since it's beginnings 5 years ago. I was initially asked to photograph the rooms at the newly renovated Drake Hotel years ago when they first opened their doors. Since then I have photographed several rooms, events, and celebrities at this awesome establishment. Here are some pictures from their 5th anniversary extravaganza:

Once in a while as photographers we are invited to be a part of something truly special. That was the case when I was asked by Sabrina & Jonah to photograph their spectacular Circus wedding. Set in Scotland, Ontario, Sabrina and Jonah pulled out all the stops and created the most unique wedding celebration I have ever attended.

Guests were encouraged to show up in a "bohemian, gypsy, circus" costume which added such a wonderful flavour to this big top wedding. The ceremony and reception took place under the big top which was astounding. Everything you would expect from a circus was present, from the awesome menu to the silks and trapeze performances.

It was a pleasure and honour to photograph this truly unique wedding celebration.

Drake Hotel Ad

The Drake Hotel recently used an image taken by Keith Pace Asciak of Flow Photo to promote its extended hours for the Toronto International Film Festival. In a simple execution the Drake Hotel let the image speak for it's hot night life.

WOW...The best wedding of the year award goes to Sabrina & Jonah for throwing a big top circus extravaganza! We set up the Snapshot Photobooth under the big top and folks had a grand time posing in their "gypsy circus bohemian" outfits. Tons of fun and laughs ensued.

Habitat for Humanity - Philanthroparty - Cement Mixer

The Philanthroparty Cement Mixer was held at The Drake Hotel this past Tuesday September 23, 2008. All proceeds from the nights event go to benefit Habitat for Humanity a very worthy cause. This is the second year that Flow Photo and the Snapshot Photobooth have participated in this event. And what an event!

The evening was hosted by the beautiful and talented Monika Schnarre. She loved posing in the Snapshot Photobooth and demonstrated to everyone how to pose like a supermodel. The evening was a great success and everyone had a blast while raising funds for Habitat for Humanity. Click here to see all the images from the Cement Mixer.
